Supporting Public Sector Reform

Directly enabling change

Reforming public services can be a long and challenging process but the impact is significant. We provide technical assistance, strategic support, and funding to accelerate reform initiatives. We also advocate for private-public sector collaboration and conduct research into public sector performance in order to increase accountability and spur action.

We work in three key areas.

Civil Service Reform – Supporting policy and guidelines development, facilitating the planning and implementation of innovative projects to streamline workflow and improve service efficiency, providing funding to support project implementation, and rewarding exemplary civil servants who uphold Service core values.

Private-public sector collaboration – advocates for the use of private sector resources including, tools, time, expertise, and funding, to support public sector reform efforts and increase the capacity of the public sector workforce. We also encourage interministerial collaboration by facilitating avenues for communication and knowledge sharing.
