Improving Public Sector Transformation through Strategic Partnerships
Strategic partnerships help us achieve our vision of a world-class public service faster. Our collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Justice, consolidated through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, will help us drive digital transformation within the ministry, a step towards a more effective justice system.
As part of our efforts to enhance public service delivery, we marked our partnership with the Federal Ministry of Justice (FMoJ) with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. The partnership aims to support the Ministry in the implementation of an Integrated Governance and Content Management System.
By leveraging digital solutions, this partnership will result in streamlined case management, enhance file and document tracking, and improve monitoring and evaluation processes within the FMoJ. Building on our commitment to enhance digital transformation across the public sector, we will provide technical support and advisory services to support the staff of the Ministry as they execute the digitalisation project. An expected outcome of this digitalisation is that the FMoJ, as the ministry that handles legal services in the country, will have more streamlined work process which will improve its ability to manage legal cases for the Federal Government.
At the signing ceremony, our Executive Vice-Chair, Ofovwe Aig-Imoukhuede, expressed enthusiasm about the commencement of this project with the FMoJ. She noted that the ministry plays a critical role in upholding the rule of law and driving legal reforms that strengthen governance in Nigeria. She emphasised that this collaboration marks a significant step toward achieving meaningful impact within Nigeria’s justice system.
Beatrice Jedy-Agba, Solicitor General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Justice, expressed the ministry’s readiness to commence the project, stating that they are committed to working closely with the Foundation to achieve impactful results.
