Driving Public Sector Excellence: A Strategic Partnership with the National Productivity Centre

In furtherance of our collaboration with our esteemed partner, the National Productivity Centre (NPC), we are delighted to announce plans to launch our productivity training initiative across 13 states of the Federation. During a courtesy visit to the Director General of NPC, it was agreed that this pilot phase will empower public servants in Ondo, Kebbi, Borno, Edo, Lagos, Nasarawa, Sokoto, Anambra, Bauchi, Imo, Kwara, Rivers, and Taraba States.

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing productivity in Nigeria’s public sector, we kickstarted an impactful partnership announced earlier this year with the National Productivity Centre. This collaboration aims to empower civil servants across the nation with cutting-edge productivity tools and innovative techniques, fostering efficiency, sustainable growth, and impactful policy implementation. Starting with Ondo, Kebbi, Borno, Edo, Lagos, Nasarawa, Sokoto, Anambra, Bauchi, Imo, Kwara, Rivers, and Taraba States as pilot states, the impact of the initiative will go beyond improving the effectiveness of public service operations. It will also drive long-term growth and deliver policies that positively impact the lives of all Nigerians. Key objectives of this partnership include bolstering labour productivity in Nigeria through public sector leadership development programmes and strengthening capacities for effective policy design and implementation, with a focus on enhancing economic growth and public sector service delivery.

During the visit, the Director General of NPC, Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’Agundi, shared his optimism about the collaboration, noting that the initiative will significantly enhance workers' performance in selected states. Together, we are committed to building a stronger, more efficient public service.
