Empowering Newly Promoted Directors to Drive Civil Service Reforms

We are proud to have contributed to empowering the next generation of leaders in the Nigerian Federal Civil Service. During an induction training for 332 newly promoted Directors, our Chairman led a session highlighting the critical role of visionary leadership in rebuilding public trust in the Civil Service.

Recently, the Head of Civil Service of the Federation hosted an induction training for 332 newly promoted Directors at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria in Abuja. This training underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to ensuring that civil service leaders are equipped to address the challenges of modern governance.

This initiative holds particular significance in light of the progress made under the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021–2025 (FCSSIP25), which has laid a strong foundation for improving efficiency, transparency, and accountability across the Federal Civil Service. As 2025 marks the final year of FCSSIP25, this is a critical opportunity to consolidate achievements and deliver results that will leave a lasting legacy.

During the training, our Chairman led a session focused on the crucial role of visionary leadership in restoring public trust in the Civil Service. He emphasized, "A nation is only as strong as its civil service” and highlighted that the key responsibilities of the new Directors are to drive change, foster employee engagement, and align organizational goals with national development objectives.

These newly promoted Directors are now tasked with influencing policy, driving reforms, and delivering tangible results that directly benefit the public, marking an opportunity to restore credibility and set new standards for effective governance.
