Inspiring the Next Generation of Public Leaders

Empowering public servants to become effective agents of change lies at the core of our mission. Our initiatives have sparked countless inspiring stories of transformation. From our AIG Public Leaders Programme, which graduated 68 participants this year, to the transformative journeys of our alumni, we have witnessed firsthand how investing in individuals ignites a ripple effect of positive change across the public sector. This year, we equipped over 400 public sector professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver excellent service to citizen.

In 2024, we launched our Alumni Association, creating a a vibrant community of changemakers within the public sector and providing them with a platform for networking, peer-to-peer exchange, continuous learning and professional development. We are proud of our alumni group who are making great strides in the public sector across Africa and this year, we celebrated multiple promotions, recognitions, and accolades for alumni who  successfully implemented impactful transformation projects across their various organisations.

The impact our alumni are having is truly inspiring. A prime example is Dr Ibiwunmi Olokun, who implemented a project that  successfully reduced patient wait times at her healthcare centre from 82 minutes to under 30 minutes. Her initiative implemented learnings from the AIG Public Leaders Programme, demonstrating the transformative power of our training programmes and the positive impact our alumni are having on the lives of Nigerians.
